Photos freeze a moment. A short looping clip brings motion back — the way someone laughed, the lights at a wedding, snow falling on a trip you still talk about. On a couple website, that kind of detail turns browsing into recognition. Guests don’t need a YouTube embed or an account; they just scroll into a memory that plays itself.
How Love Builder video playback works
Videos stay muted so browsers allow autoplay. When the section comes on screen, playback starts; when it leaves, it pauses. Visitors can tap the video to pause or resume. Files upload as MP4 (up to 50MB), store with your other media, and use the same replace-and-cleanup flow as images — including orphan cleanup after save and publish.
Styling that matches your story
The video section shares the Image section’s editing depth: size presets, rectangle/square/circle/heart layouts, borders, opacity, section padding, solid or gradient backgrounds, and captions below or overlaid. That means a soft framed clip with a line of text can sit next to your collage without feeling like a bolted-on player.

Try it after the hero as a cinematic beat, between story and timeline, or near a song section so motion and music live close together. Short clips work best — a few seconds of something personal will loop more gracefully than a long film.
How to add it in Love Builder
Open Add Components, choose Video Section, upload your MP4, then tune layout and caption in the editor. Preview on your phone too — tap-to-pause is especially natural on mobile. When you publish, the same muted loop behavior appears on your live love link.
